Eric Zohn is a New York City-based attorney specializing in publishing and intellectual property law.
He was born and raised in New York. A philosophy major, Eric graduated from Tulane University.
He earned his J.D. degree and graduated Cum Laude from New York Law School. Eric joined the Business Affairs department
of the William Morris Agency upon graduating and was appointed head of Literary Business Affairs at WMA and then WME.
He has been an Adjunct Professor at New York Law School and taught an advanced course in transactional entertainment law.
He is admitted to practice in New York and California.
Eric spent most of his time at WME negotiating complicated intellectual property rights agreements for book publishing,
theatre commissions, motion picture and television options as well as a wide range of talent agreements for actors, writers, directors and others.
He actively counseled and guided agents and clients in all areas of representation, including strategic planning and business development.
He was actively involved in policy matters for the literary department and in the deal-making process from inception to completion.
Eric is married with three children and resides in New York City.
